EU Policy Consultant – based in Brussels
We are looking for a consultant with 1-3 years professional experience in EU public affairs to join our financial services team in Brussels.
You may currently be working in an EU institution, for a regulatory authority, for a public affairs or management consultancy, a multinational or a think-tank. You understand the EU’s legislative process and the value of personal networks. The role entails advising clients on the implications of EU political and policy developments for their business, with a particular focus on the financial services sector.
We currently have a vacancy to support on our financial services sector work. The consultant will also have the opportunity to work with some world’s largest companies in a range of sectors, including sustainability, transport, energy & climate, trade, healthcare, and digital policy. Interest and proven experience on financial services policies will be deemed especially valuable. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have experience working on EU financial services policy, especially banking, cryptocurrency and sustainable finance, along with political acumen, an understanding and interest in EU politics and future developments linked to the European Commission's mandate.
