We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and detail orientated Finance Manager to join a growing finance and operations team. You will join a busy finance team to ensure the successful, timely and accurate completion of management accounts, client contracts, procurement and invoices. We hope this role will help lead on contracting and procurement. We are happy for a more junior candidate to apply as long as they are keen to learn and develop within the role.

 

The right candidate will be comfortable with working in a fast-moving, fluid environment and have the ability to influence colleagues and to encourage them to work within a disciplined financial framework. At the same time, they will bring rigour, discipline, an eye for detail and the will to work hard. The job will offer scope for development as the company continues to grow.

 

The following responsibilities:

 

  • Client services: ensuring due diligence on new clients, agreeing on contracts, invoicing arrangements and procurement
  • Client invoicing and revenue collection
  • Support with client profitability and practice area analysis
  • Financial management: paying suppliers, data input to management accounts, accounts payable, expenses, cashflow
  • Debt collection
  • Ad hoc reporting and financial support as needed
  • General administrative support as required, including liaison with our Brussels office
  • Manage payroll questions

 

 YOUR SKILLS

 

The kind of qualifications and experience we are looking for are:

 

  • Experience with procurement and SAP invoicing portals
  • Ability to read the fine print in contracting terms
  • Excellent IT skills, including intermediate Excel skills
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and able to quickly learn new systems
  • Excel abilities - intermediate skills and an interest in pivot tables, formulas, analysis
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships with a wide range of people at every level
  • Desire to work in a friendly and approachable female-led team

 

A financial qualification is not a prerequisite for this role. Evidence of experience in a similar role is necessary.

 

A competitive salary is on offer for the right candidate, and we are open to negotiation in respect of remuneration and the terms of employment.
